The Delta HP Air Valve are designed for many applications, including slurry and water. The large port design prevents clogging while the HI-WEAR seat and float design offer a large sealing area. An Anti­Surge Float option is available to limit discharge rates to 3.5kPa differential.

This product is used for the highest point of the pipeline to exclude the gas and clear the pipeline,  if not installed Air Valve, the liquid in the pipe will produce dynamic thermal cause gas to form a section of road, so that the water pipeline yield can not meet the design requirements, and secondly, power failure, pump stopping will appear when pipeline is operating ,the negative pressure can cause pipe vibration or broken, Air Valve will quickly let air into the pipe to prevent pipe vibration or broken.
